Mark Curran has had enough of what he sees as Illinois U.S. Rep. Adam Kinzinger’s inconsistencies. 

“Who remembers Adam Kinzinger or any of these other phonies condemning the looters, murderers and arsonists in Chicago all summer long,” he said. “These phonies feel the need to kiss up to the media that hate us.

Curran’s outrage is sparked by news Kinzinger has emerged as the first republican in Congress to publicly seek to oust President Donald Trump by using the 25th Amendment that allows for his involuntary removal. Kinzinger’s declaration comes in the wake of any angry mob of some of the president’s most ardent supporters swarming the U.S. Capitol as lawmakers were in the process of certifying President-elect Joe Biden.

Since November’s election, Trump has openly blasted the results of November's election as rigged against him, drawing a steady flow of sour grapes criticism from the likes of the Kinzinger and others.

Again, Curran, who earned nearly 40% of the vote in his run against U.S. Sen. Dick Durbin, argues he’s had enough of Kinzinger’s self-serving nature.

“Who wants to primary Kinzinger,” he said. “Burn the Illinois GOP down so that it can be rebuilt with integrity.”

Curran previously blasted Kinzinger over his support for the COVID bill that gave struggling only $600 in stimulus money.

“Rep. Adam Kinzinger doesn’t work for Illinois,” he said. “He proudly tweeted that he supported the corrupt bill that away everything to lobbyists and special interest groups. Illinois deserves better representation.”

Curran argues part of Kinzinger’s failed representation includes not standing up to Gov. J.B. Pritzker and what he sees as his tyrannical handling of the pandemic.

“He’s the biggest embarrassment, sellout,” he said. “While collecting his $176,000 tax payer funded paycheck all year, Kinzinger has said nothing about the Democrats shutdowns in Illinois that has destroyed us.”
