Census Bureau: Illinois saw more residents between ages 25 and 34 in 2020

Of the 12,716,164 people residing in Illinois in 2020, the median age was 38, according to U.S. Census Bureau data obtained by the Prairie State Wire.

The largest number of people were in the 25 to 34 age bracket with the fewest number of people in the age bracket for people over the age of 84.
