Conservative Senate candidate Matt Dubiel said he is in favor of an audit of the election.

He updated his supporters through Facebook about the status of his campaign and expressed his thoughts on the primary election issues.

"I’ve been getting a 'few' messages from family, friends and my newest friends from around Illinois," Dubiel said. "People are asking two things. No. 1: You doing OK, Matt? – and to that I say YES, and thank you for asking. I’m getting ready for our annual family Independence Day celebration – a 35+ year tradition. No. 2: Matt, are you involved with these other candidates 'cause I heard x, y or z? Here’s the answer to that: If and when I’m doing something, or involved with something directly you will hear it directly from ME."

Dubiel mentioned that he recently participated in a conference call where "other candidates presented data, and thoughts on the recent primary election."

"I did this, No. 1 because I’ve been getting emails, texts, calls and comments on social media from election judges, poll watchers and voters sharing experiences that are not acceptable during voting," he said. "Based on this input I posted 'I support an audit 100% – the TRUTH wins.' After that, I was contacted by other candidates in the U.S. Senate race, as well as congressional races and invited to compared notes. Some of these calls were one on one, and one call (today) was a conference call. My focus in these calls was truth and transparency for the people of Illinois. People are telling me they asked for a Republican ballot and were given a Democrat ballot. People are telling me there were sharpies at polling places (not supposed to be because they bleed and do not register properly). People are telling me there were no Republican ballots available at their polling place."

Apart from the matters he mentioned, Dubiel also stated that election judges and poll watchers are messaging him "nonstop about various other issues."

"Serious issues," he said. "My phone is going off nonstop. So based on the info I’m receiving from citizens, I was interested in joining my fellow Senate candidates on this conference call today. The call lasted nearly two hours. I suggested we let the information 'marinate' and discuss more after the holiday. Since then, my phone has been ringing and texts have been coming in nonstop with messages of issues and concerns from people who voted or monitored voting. Those are the facts I have. I’m only interested in the truth."

According to Dubiel, the reason he ran is so that Sens. Dick Durbin and Tammy Duckworth are not representing the people of Illinois; instead, they are representing “the Democratic Party’s propaganda,” Dupage Policy Journal reported. He believes that the people, but especially parents, need to pay closer attention to politics and get involved. Dubiel was one of the parents that brought the lawsuit that eventually overturned Gov. J.B. Pritzker’s mask mandate in schools.

Over a month prior to the primary, Dubiel called for an investigation into National Institute of Allergy and Infectious Diseases Director Anthony Fauci. He said that Fauci’s policies have divided Americans and restricted their liberties. Dubiel also criticized all of the times Fauci flip-flopped on his guidance. However, he noted that the money Fauci has made is problematic. Fauci had received royalties and many people around him have also come into a slot of money, and Dubiel is calling for this to be investigated. He has recently said that "Dr. Fauci helped facilitate a nationwide shutdown for a virus that 99.97% of people survive."

Early this year, the Illinois GOP blocked Dubiel on Twitter, Dupage Policy Journal reported.

“Why does the @ILGOP have the #AmericaFirst GOP Senate candidate (me) blocked on twitter?” Dubiel said on Facebook.

Dubiel campaigned on better representation for Illinois, and his key issues include safer communities, education, medical freedom and the economy. He had a career in radio as a producer and host, and owns WCKG 1530 AM.
