Illinois Labor Relations Board Local Panel met Dec. 13.
Here are the minutes provided by the board:
I. OPENING OF MEETING 10:00 A.M.— via Webex video conference and 100 W. Randolph Street, JRTC 2-025, Chicago, IL
II. PRESENT
Lynne O. Sered, Chairman of the Local Panel, Charles E. Anderson, Members of the Local Panel attended in person at the Chicago Office; Helen J. Kim, General Counsel, participated in person at the Chicago Office; Kimberly F. Stevens, Executive Director and staff members participated by video conference.
III. APPROVAL OF MINUTES OF REGULAR MEETING HELD on November 10, 2022.
Chairman Sered called for approval of the minutes of the regular meeting held November 10, 2022. Member Anderson made a motion to approve the minutes. Chairman Sered seconded. The Board passed the motion unanimously, by a voice vote.
IV. ADMINISTRATIVE MATTERS
Chairman Sered stated that the Executive Director Stevens will present the executive reports during the joint meeting being held at 10:30am.
V. REVIEW OF PROPOSED WRITTEN DECISIONS AND ORDERS
A. None
VI. BOARD ACTIONS
1. Case No. L-RC-21-013
American Federation of State County and Municipal Employees, Council 31, and City of Chicago
Chairman Sered called the case. General Counsel Kim presented the case. After a discussion the Board declined to review the case on its own.
2. Case No. L-CA-22-008
Fraternal Order of Police, Lodge #7, and City of Chicago
Chairman Sered called the case. General Counsel Kim presented the case. After a discussion the Board decided to hold the case until the January 12, 2023 meeting.
VII. EXECUTIVE SESSION
After a short discussion regarding whether there was a need for executive session, the Board concluded it was unnecessary.
VIII. PUBLIC COMMENT
A members of the public made a comment.
IX. ADJOURNMENT
Chairman Sered called for a motion to adjourn. Member Anderson made a motion to adjourn the meeting, Chairman Sered second and the Board passed it unanimously, by a roll call, voice vote.
