146 professional licenses expiring across Illinois in August

There are 146 Illinois professional licenses set to expire during August, according to the Illinois Department of Financial and Professional Regulation.

This is a 74.9 percent decrease from the month before.

Chicago is home to the most professionals needing to renew their licenses, with 23 expiring in August.

Chicago had the most professional licenses needing to be renewed the month before, with 236 being set to expire.

A Civic Economics study found $100 spent at a locally-owned business puts $47 back into the local economy while the total is just $13 for non-local businesses.
