2023 Pet Tags are now available!
This free initiative is easy, quick and required by Village Ordinance (a copy of the Municipal Code of Ordinances: Chapter 91: Animals can be found here (link)).
All cats and dogs must be registered with the Village on a yearly basis. Registering your pet allows for quicker identification and return should they get lost, avoiding boarding fees and fines. Owners can register their pets by clicking here (link), or stop by Village Hall (24555 S. Navajo Drive) to register in person. Whether registering online or in person, please provide proof of current rabies vaccination.
After your pet's Village tag is issued, you may email a photo of your pet to mmazintas@channahon.org (please include the pet's name and Village tag number). If you no longer have a pet, or if you move, please contact Village Hall at 815-467-6644 to update our records.
