Illinois Guardianship and Advocacy Commission Human Rights Authority North Suburban Region met June 6.

Staff Present: Mariah Balaban, North Suburban HRA Disability Rights Manager

The DRM noted that a quorum was not present so only certain business could be conducted. DRM read the confidentiality statement.
Call to order Open Session
HRA Chairperson Steinberg called the regular monthly meeting of the Human Rights Authority, North Suburban Region to order at 5:30 p.m.
Approval of Minutes
A quorum was not present so the minutes for the April 24, 2023 open & closed sessions and May 2, 2023 open session could not be voted on.
New Business
There was no new business on the agenda this month.
Previous Business
1. Member Neal-Garcia Case moved to accept the draft report for case 21-100-9011 (Edward Hospital and Linden Oaks Behavioral Hospital), member Rubin seconded, and the motion to accept the draft report carried.
2. Chair Steinberg moved to accept the draft report for Case 22-100-9006 (Landmark of Des Plaines), member Neal-Garcia accepted, and the motion to accept the draft report carried.
There were no comments from the public, and no other business that was discussed. Member Rubin motioned to adjourn the meeting, member Johnson seconded, and the meeting was adjourned at 6:30pm by the Chairperson.
