Sam McCann to remain in custody pending sentencing

During the Detention Hearing this morning, the Court ordered McCann to remain in custody pending sentencing.

McCann was initially taken into custody prior to the trial, on Feb 9, 2024, for various reasons.

McCann’s sentencing hearing is scheduled for June 20, 2024.

AUSA Timothy Bass present on behalf of the Government. Defendant present with attorney of record Jason Vincent. Defendant’s oral motion for release on home confinement. Arguments heard. Evidence entered. Government directed to provide a copy of the photo of Defendant’s clothing to the Clerk’s Office. For the reasons stated on the record under both 18 USC Sec. 3143 and 18 USC Sec. 3148, the Court finds that the Defendant is to be detained pending sentencing.
