Cannabis sales show steady growth in July and August 2024

Adult use cannabis sales figures for July and August 2024 have been released, showing continued strong performance in the market.

In July 2024, a total of 4,134,393 items were sold, resulting in $110,906,006.46 in sales to in-state residents and $32,438,177.61 to out-of-state residents. The combined total for the month was $143,344,184.07.

August 2024 saw an increase with 4,285,598 items sold. In-state resident sales amounted to $114,324,610.40 while out-of-state resident sales reached $33,067,122.63. The total sales for August were reported at $147,391,733.03.

The data reflects consistent growth compared to previous months of the year:

- January: 3,551,727 items sold; total sales of $133,787,753.89.

- February: 3,636,925 items sold; total sales of $135,571,931.44.

- March: 4,048,897 items sold; total sales of $148,872,065.12.

- April: 4,140,350 items sold; total sales of $144,511,466.85.

- May: 4,112,540 items sold; total sales of $146,229576.98.

- June: 4 ,006 ,004 items sold; total sales of $141 ,752 ,141 .71 .

This year-to-date data highlights a steady demand for adult-use cannabis products among both in-state and out-of-state consumers.
