Country music artist Megan Moroney is scheduled to perform at the Illinois State Fair Grandstand on August 10. Known as "Country's New Darling" by People Magazine, Moroney will bring her unique style to Springfield, Illinois.

Moroney has achieved nearly 2 billion global streams and recently released her second album, Am I Okay?, in July 2024. The album debuted at No. 9 on the Billboard 200 and was the third-biggest debut of the year for a female country artist. It received positive reviews from publications like Rolling Stone and The New York Times.

"The Illinois State Fair has a long tradition of showcasing artists early in their careers," said Jerry Costello II, Director of the Illinois Department of Agriculture. "We're looking forward to Megan Moroney's Grandstand appearance in August. She has a bright future in Country music."

Am I Okay? includes the song "No Caller ID," which set a record for the biggest debut by a female country artist in U.S. streaming history. This continues Moroney's success following her debut album Lucky, which featured the hit "Tennessee Orange."

Since releasing Lucky, Moroney has received several awards including Breakthrough Female Video of the Year at the 2023 CMT Music Awards and Breakout Artist of the Year at the 2024 CountryBreakout Awards. She also earned six nominations at the ACM Awards.

Moroney is nominated for three categories at The 58th Annual CMA Awards: Female Vocalist of the Year, New Artist of the Year, and Music Video of the Year for "I'm Not Pretty." Her AM I OKAY? TOUR will begin in March 2025.

"Our special discounted pricing makes it affordable to catch Megan Moroney in concert," said Rebecca Clark, Illinois State Fair Manager. "Fans love her honest lyrics and high energy performances, and we can't wait to have her light up the Grandstand."

Tickets go on sale November 16 via Ticketmaster with special discounted prices available for certain sections until sold out.

The Illinois State Fair will take place from August 7 through August 17 in Springfield.
