Beth's nurturing spirit extended to her roles as a loving mother to Susan (Jeff) Roseland and Paul (Cortney) Clampitt, a cherished grandmother to Joe, John, Keegan, Paulie, Joey, Jeffrey, Kylie, Lexi, and Amanda, and a doting great-grandmother of nine with one more on the way. Her twin brother Bob Coleman, several nieces and nephews, along with other relatives survive her. Beth was preceded in death by her parents, Harold Coleman and Pauline Engle, her husband Loren, her infant son Tommy, and her sister Sue Clark.
During her over 40-year tenure at Caterpillar in Joliet, Beth exemplified dedication and loyalty, leaving a lasting impact on her colleagues. Following retirement, her volunteer work at the Morris hospital gift shop exemplified her kind and warmhearted nature, brightening the days of those around her.
Known for her cheerful personality, Beth enjoyed playing Bingo, Bridge, and gathering with friends for coffee. A loyal supporter of her grandchildren at their sporting events, her infectious enthusiasm and unwavering devotion made her an exceptional fan.
In honor of Beth, donations can be made to the Morris Fire Department or the Grundy County Police Association.
Visitation for Beth will be held on Sunday, December 8, 2024, from 2:00 pm to 6:00 pm at UC Davis Callahan Funeral Home in Morris. A service celebrating Beth’s life will take place on Monday, December 9, 2024, at 10 am at the funeral home, officiated by Pastor Steve Larson, followed by interment at Evergreen Cemetery.
