Dennis Yambor, age 78, a long-time resident of Chicago Heights, IL, and former resident of Beecher, IL, passed away on June 15, 1946, in Chicago Heights to the late Joseph and late Marie (nee Wylat) Yambor. He is survived by his children, Robert Yambor and Jennifer Mapa, and his cherished granddaughter, Hailey Gass. Dennis was a beloved brother to Joseph (Diane) Yambor, Marlene (James) McKee, and Raymond (Pamela) Yambor and was preceded in death by his brother, Norman Yambor. Additionally, he was a fond uncle to many nieces and nephews.

Dennis attended St. Joseph grammar School and Bloom High School. He worked at Century Steel in Chicago Heights, IL, for over 40 years in his career, primarily as a crane operator. An active member of the Polish American Club and the Southside Cruisers, Dennis was also known for his love of cooking and antique collecting. His passion for classic automobiles was evident through his ownership of many over the years, including his prized 1955 Chevy.
