Tinley Park, Illinois - Friends and family are invited to the funeral services of Vivian Mazzotti to be held at Maher Funeral Home, located at 17107 71st Avenue, Tinley Park, Illinois 60477. Visitation will take place on Tuesday, January 21st from 3:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. On Wednesday morning, attendees are asked to gather at 8:00 a.m. for prayers at the funeral home before proceeding to St. Stephen Deacon and Martyr Catholic Church at 17500 South 84th Avenue, Tinley Park, Illinois 60487, for the 9:30 a.m. Mass of Christian Burial. Vivian will be laid to rest alongside her beloved Joseph at Queen of Heaven Cemetery in Hillside.

Vivian, who was born and raised on a family farm in Salerno, Italy, made a courageous journey to America in 1971 to be with her husband Joseph, whom she had met through correspondence. They settled in East Hazel Crest, IL, where they welcomed their daughter, Anna. Vivian worked as a seamstress at Roseland Draperies until her retirement in 1995. Following Joseph's passing in 2001, she moved to Frankfort, IL, where she devoted her time to caring for her grandchildren, Alyssa and Emily. Vivian's family was her priority, and she enjoyed gardening and cooking traditional Italian dishes. Despite battling Parkinson's for years, she remained active and resilient. Vivian's kind and generous nature touched the lives of many.
