Florence U. Plitt | Thornridge Funeral Home Of Orland Park - Orland Park
Florence U. Plitt (née Augustin), age 100, late of Palos Park and formerly of Oak Lawn, beloved wife of the late Edward Kasper and David Plitt, devoted mother of Donald, Kenneth, and the late Gerald Kasper, stepmother of David, Steve, and the late Sara Plitt, proud grandmother of 14, and dear great-grandmother, will be remembered at a visitation on Thursday from 8:30 AM until the time of the Funeral at 10:15 AM at Thornridge Funeral Home (Janusz Family Funeral Service) in Orland Park, IL. The funeral will proceed to Our Lady of the Woods for Mass at 11:00 AM. Interment will be at Resurrection Cemetery. Florence was a longtime waitress at the Martinique in Evergreen Park and was known for her love of hosting holiday get-togethers and welcoming friends and family with open arms. In her free time, she enjoyed spending time in Michigan, playing the slots, and shopping. She will be missed by many as Ma, grandma, Flo-Flo, and G-ma.
