Tinley Park, Illinois - Frank J. Derucki Jr., age 60, of Tinley Park, IL, passed away on January 16, 2025, after a brave 30+ year battle with MS and a short but courageous fight against brain cancer. Frank was the beloved brother of Julie Ann (David) Kotowski, Michael Derucki, and John Derucki (fiancée Samantha Hudgens). He was a dear friend of Karyn Staresinich and a cherished uncle to Katie Kotowski, Dylan Derucki, Katie Peel, Johnny and Maggie Chengary, Billy Chengary, and Nick, Jack, and Annie Angus. He was a proud great uncle to Frankie and Payton Derucki, Dawson Morse, Annabelle and Rebekah Chengary.

Preceded in death by his parents Frank Sr. and Mariann, Frank graduated from George Washington High School, class of '82, and pursued a career as an auto mechanic. During his 25 years at Lincoln Mercury in Calumet City, IL, Frank honed his craft and became known for his expertise in diagnosing and repairing automobiles. He was a dedicated mechanic who loved working on cars, and his skills were highly regarded by those who sought his assistance. Frank was an avid Bears and Cubs fan, reflecting his passion for Chicago sports teams.

A private service and interment will be held to honor Frank. Cremation rites have been performed.
