Leonard "Len Wojo" M. Wojciechowicz | Lack & Sons Funeral Home

Leonard M. Wojciechowicz, known fondly as "Len Wojo," age 84, of Bridgeview, son of the late Louis and Mary (Pozniak) Wojciechowicz, and beloved husband of Dolores Wojciechowicz (née Grzanek) for 56 years, has passed away. He was the loving father of Greg Wojciechowicz and Jeff (Dusti) Wojciechowicz, and the dear grandfather "Dzia Dzia" of Paxton and Brinlee Wojciechowicz. Leonard was the loving brother of Louise (Michael) McSweeney, Tony (Linda) Wojciechowicz, and the late John Wojciechowicz, and a dear uncle to many nieces and nephews.

Len led a life dedicated to serving others. As a parishioner at St. Patricia for 50 years, he served on various committees, acted as a Lector and Eucharistic Minister, and was active with The Holy Name Society and Knights of Columbus San Salvador Archangel Council 282. He received the Christifideles Award in 2004 for his extraordinary lay ministry in the Church.

Len found joy in coaching sports, volunteering, and spreading laughter. In lieu of flowers, donations to Lightways Hospice are appreciated.

Visitation will be held on Sunday, March 9, 2025, from 3:00 PM to 8:00 PM at Lack and Sons Funeral Home in Hickory Hills. Funeral Prayers will take place on Monday, March 10, 2025, at 9:30 AM at the funeral home, followed by Mass at 10:00 AM at St. Patricia Church in Hickory Hills. Interment will be private.
