Illinois State Board of Education, Balanced Accountability Measure Committee met Jan. 29.

Dr. Klaisner called the meeting to order at 1:02 p.m. and welcomed members. Ms. Hyde called roll. Dr. Klaisner presented the following future meeting dates:
• March 3, 2025 1-3 p.m.
• April 28, 2025 11 a.m.-1 p.m.
• June 9, 2025 10-2 p.m. (all day, in-person)
Ms. Warnecke made a motion to approve the above dates and was seconded by Mr. Roche. The 2025 meeting dates were approved.
Ms. Hyde would send out confirmed meeting invites to all the IBAM Committee members.
Dr. Klaisner opened the discussion regarding IBAM priorities. Mr. Roche made a motion to approve the priorities and Ms. Warnecke seconded. The IBAM priorities were approved.
Dr. Klaisner shifted the discussion to Ms. Clementz to have her provide an update on the assessment redesign.
Ms. Clementz provided that update as well as commented about the ISBE Assessment & Accountability listening tour.
Ms. Clementz presented on “Refining the Approach – Decision Tree, Profile, Simple Index and Proof of Concept: School Improvement Report” to the committee.
Dr. Klaisner called for public comment. No public comment.
Dr. Krause made a motion to adjourn the meeting. It was seconded by Mr. Broom.
