The Illinois State Board of Education (ISBE) has set the agenda for its regular business meeting on February 20, in Springfield. The meeting is scheduled to start at 9 a.m., and interested individuals can access an information packet for more details.

Public participation is encouraged, with an online form available from 7:30 a.m. until the meeting begins. Participants can choose to speak either in person or via phone by dialing 571-317-3112 with access code 919-127-637.

The proceedings will be audiocast online. Attendees can listen by clicking the “Listen in” link on the ISBE homepage under Top-Accessed Services when the meeting starts.

Agenda items include swearing-in board members if needed, presentations on PEAC and CTE initiatives, consideration of various contracts and grants over $1 million, approval of minutes from January's plenary session, and election of board officers as required by bylaws.
