Local Resident Butch Frese Jr. Dies at 62

Plainfield, IL - Donald “Butch” Frese Jr., 62, passed away on March 4, 2025 in Plainfield, IL. Born in Chicago to Donald Frese Sr. and Charlotte Frese, he was a dedicated commercial roofer and member of Local 11 Roofers and Waterproofers.

Survived by his wife Diane, daughters Alyssa, Ashley, and Katie, as well as granddaughters, brother Mark, and beloved dogs Lily and Hazel, Butch will be remembered for his love of family and patriotism instilled by his father, a U.S. veteran. His simple joys included supporting the Chicago Cubs and spending time outdoors.

Visitation will be held at Anderson-Goodale Memorial Homes on March 14 from 5:00 to 8:00 PM, with burial at Resurrection Cemetery & Mausoleum on March 15 following a morning service.
