Tinley Park, IL - Carol A. Forster, aged 69, of Tinley Park, IL, passed away on March 29, 2025. A parishioner of St. Mary Church in Mokena, IL, Carol was a loving wife, mother, sister, daughter, and grandmother who treasured moments spent with her family, especially her grandchildren. Her warmth and love will be dearly missed by many.

Carol was the beloved wife of Edward “Ed” G. Forster for 26 years and the loving mother of Shanon (Jason) Schroeder and Carrie (Tim) Sima. She was the cherished grandmother of Kelsey, Jacob, Josephine, Maryanna, Gerard, Grace, Gabriella, Anthony, and late Anna, as well as the cherished step-grandmother of Eddie Jr., Alyssa, Maddie, and Joey. Carol was the caring sister of John Krause and Cathy (Bruce) Rheinwald, and the daughter of Mary and late Jack Krause. She is fondly remembered by her niece and nephew, Jennifer and David Rheinwald.

A visitation will be held on Wednesday, April 9, 2025, starting at 10:00 a.m., followed by a Funeral Mass at 11:00 a.m. at St. Mary Church in Mokena. Interment will be private. In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to The Epilepsy Foundation or a charity of choice.
