Shirley J. Withers, 92, formerly of Blue Island, passed away peacefully on Wednesday, March 26, 2025. She was the beloved wife of Richard Withers for sixty-eight years, who preceded her in death. Shirley is survived by her children Gary (Lori) Withers and Linda (Doug) Ackerson, grandchildren Beverly, Drew, and Amelia, and great-grandchildren Oliver and Hayden. Shirley was born on March 8, 1933, in Blue Island to the late Helen and William Faden. Interment will take place at First Ev. Lutheran Cemetery in Alsip.
