Michael C. Doody, devoted husband of the late Monica, nee Mattern, passed away. He was the loving father of Gregory, Jeffrey, Mary Rielly, Anne Moran, and Maureen Finnegan. Michael was a cherished grandfather and great-grandfather to a large family. He was also a proud U.S. Army Veteran and a favorite hometown butcher for over 70 years at various establishments.

He was the loving brother of the late Catherine Bingen, Mary Doody, and Stacia Spagnoli, and the dear brother-in-law of the late Mathias “Mickey” Mattern. Michael's dedication to his craft and his family will be deeply missed by all who knew him.

Visitation for Michael will be on Friday, March 14, 2025, from 3:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. at Curley Funeral Home in Chicago Ridge. The funeral will take place on Saturday, March 15, 2025, with all family and friends invited to meet directly at Our Lady of St. Germaine Church in Oak Lawn for a Mass at 10:00 a.m., followed by interment at Holy Sepulchre Cemetery.
