Irene F. Skocz, also known as "Big I" or "Ma Skocz," nee Lojas, age 99, passed away. She was the beloved wife of the late Casimir (Casey) Skocz and the loving mother of Robert, Richard, Roy, and Randy. Irene was a proud grandmother, great-grandmother, and great-great-grandmother.

Born to Marie and Walter Lojas, Irene was the sister of Eleanor Kwiatkowski, late Walter Lojas, and late Edward Lojas. She will be remembered fondly by her many nieces and nephews.

Visitation for Irene will be on Wednesday from 3:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. The funeral is scheduled for Thursday, starting at 9:00 a.m. from Curley Funeral Home to St. Denis Church for a Mass at 10:00 a.m., followed by interment at Resurrection Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, donations to St. Jude Children’s Hospital, Shriners Children’s Hospital, or Feed the Children are appreciated.
