Serafino Ruffolo, affectionately known as Sam, was born on June 9, 1946, in Calabria, Italy. At the age of 78, he passed away on March 13, 2025. Serafino is survived by his beloved wife, Anna, and his children Lisa, Christine, and Peter (Stephanie). He was a cherished grandfather to PJ and Tony Ruffolo. Serafino is also survived by his siblings Mary Surdo, Silvana Zajack, and Aldo Ruffolo.

Serafino was known for his hard work and dedication as a provider for his family. He was deeply loved as a brother, son, cousin, uncle, and godfather. His joy in being a grandfather brought immense happiness to those around him. Serafino's kindness and care for others will not be forgotten.

Visitation for Serafino will be held on Wednesday, March 19, 2025, from 3:00 p.m. until the time of the chapel service at 7:00 p.m. at Curley Funeral Home in Chicago Ridge. Interment will be private. For more information, please contact (708) 422-2700 or visit www.curleyfuneralhome.com.
