Fred Murphy, a beloved husband, father, and grandfather, passed away peacefully on March 18, 2025, at the age of 87. Known for his sense of humor, deep love, and faith, Fred was dedicated to his family, having been married to Marilyn for nearly 67 years. His passion for boating, commitment to community service as a Knight of Columbus, and unwavering support for the Chicago Bears shaped his rich and fulfilling life. Fred will be deeply missed by his children, grandchildren, great-grandchildren, and all who knew him. Visitation and a Mass of Christian Burial will be held on Monday, March 24, 2025, at Brady-Gill Funeral Home and St. George Catholic Church in Tinley Park, Illinois, respectively. In lieu of flowers, memorial donations to St. George Catholic Church are appreciated.
