Beecher - Janice G. Brands, born on May 15, 1941, in Chicago, Illinois, to Raymond and Gertrude Braun, passed away with her family by her side. On May 5, 1962, she married Martin Brands, Jr., dedicating their lives to faith and family. Janice's commitment to Zion Lutheran Church in Beecher spanned over 50 years, where she served as church secretary with love and devotion.

A gentle soul, Janice brought joy and kindness to all she encountered. Her dedication to church ministry continued even after retirement, as she faithfully visited the elderly and engaged in church activities. Janice's love for her family shone brightly, cherished through daily moments, holidays, and vacations. She was preceded in death by her husband Marty, parents Raymond and Gertrude Braun, and other family members.

Janice is survived by her children Linda, Laura, Marty, and Chris, grandchildren Paul, Rachel, Peter Jr., and Jacob, sisters Diane, Betty, and Joanne, and numerous nieces, nephews, and friends who were like family. Remembered as a prayer warrior with deep faith and love for Christ, her kindness and compassion touched all who knew her.

A verse from Matthew 25:21 and Job 19:25 comfortingly rang true for Janice, embodying her faithfulness and love for her family and community.
