Marilyn Javorski Borowy, aged 96, of Hometown, peacefully passed away on April 23, 2025. She was the beloved wife of the late Fred Borowy and a cherished mother of Michele Vogel, Tom Javorski, John Javorski, Peggy Holbrook, and Patricia Javorski. Marilyn was preceded in death by her sons Scott and Bill Javorski.

A devoted grandmother to 12 grandchildren, 19 great-grandchildren, and 2 great-great-grandchildren, Marilyn took immense pride and joy in her family. She was a kind-hearted soul whose compassionate care touched the lives of many families during her years serving as a Burbank Public Health Nurse.

Marilyn's dedication to community service extended to her involvement in St. Bede’s Women’s Club, where she found friendships and purpose in service. She was a proud Little Company of Mary School of Nursing graduate.

She is survived by her sister Betty Jane Knoth, niece Bette Holub, Marilyn Kosiek, and Sue Javorski. Marilyn's legacy of family, faith, and compassion will be remembered fondly by those who knew and loved her.

A visitation will take place on Monday, April 28, 2025, at Hann Funeral Home in Bridgeview, followed by a Mass of Christian Burial at St. Fabian Catholic Church. Interment will be private.
