Thomas Charles Wojcik, aged 84, passed away on April 7, 2025, in Orland Park, Illinois, following a prolonged illness. He is fondly remembered as a devoted husband, father, brother, grandfather, and great-grandfather known for his kindness, love for family, curiosity about the universe, and unwavering faith.

Born on May 24, 1940, in Chicago, Tom was raised in the Brighton Park neighborhood. He is survived by his wife of 62 years, Ruth, their children Thomas, Jeffrey, Joseph, and Christine, eight grandchildren, and two great-grandchildren. Tom was preceded in death by his parents Casimir and Harriet, brother Joseph, and sisters Ann Marie and Barbara.

Tom's life included supporting his family, involving himself in community activities like Cub Scouts, and exploring his interest in astronomy. He attended Five Holy Martyrs Catholic School and graduated from Saint Rita of Cascia High School in 1958. Tom worked at American Airlines, started his family in Orland Park, and enjoyed a lengthy career at Corn Products Corporation.

A visitation to celebrate Tom's life was held on April 11, 2025, at Robert J. Sheehy & Sons Funeral Home in Orland Park. Donations in Tom's memory can be made to St. Jude Children's Research Hospital.
