Dorothy E. Janasky Listowski, 93, of Chicago, Alsip, Mesa AZ, and Palos Heights, passed away peacefully at home on April 14, 2025. She was born in South Chicago to parents Walter and Lottie and shared a close bond with her sister, Joan, and extended family. Dorothy married John in 1955, raised two daughters, and had a successful career at the Greater Chicago Auto Auction before retiring to Arizona. She enjoyed nearly three decades of sunny days in Arizona before relocating back to Chicago.

Dorothy had a passion for travel, was an avid reader, and enjoyed playing cards. Above all, she cherished time spent with her family. Dorothy is survived by her daughters Janice and Debbie, along with her grandchildren Jay and Ryan (Shannon), as well as her great-grandson on the way, Jackson. She is preceded in death by her parents, sister, and husband, and is also survived by her brother-in-law John, and several nieces and nephews.
