Elinor M. “Ellie” Sullivan, previously known as Elinor Schmid, passed away. Survived by her husband Brian and children Elinor, Margaret, and Brian, she was the devoted daughter of the late Elinor and Chester Schmid. Ellie was the former Director of Examinations for Chicago State University and UPI Local 4100 President. She was a beloved sister-in-law, aunt, great-aunt, cousin, and friend to many.

A visitation will be held on Wednesday from 3:00 to 8:00 p.m. at Curley Funeral Home in Chicago Ridge. The funeral services will take place on Thursday at St. Barnabas Church, with a visitation at 10:00 a.m. followed by Mass at 11:00 a.m. Interment will be private.
