HOMER GLEN - Daniel F. Suchecki, an Army Veteran at the age of 87, of Homer Glen and formerly of Lemont, will be remembered at a funeral service to honor his life. Daniel was the beloved husband of Rita Suchecki, nee Kay, loving father of Lisa (Greg) Lochen, Joel (Donna) Suchecki, and Daniel A. (Vanessa) Suchecki, and devoted grandfather of Grace and Emma Lochen. He was the cherished son of the late Mary (the late Joseph) Danczura and the late Frank Suchecki, and the dear brother of the late Felicia (the late Robert) Witkiewicz and the late Joan Czubernat. Daniel was also the treasured nephew of the late Rose Lewandowski and a caring uncle of Deborah, Robert, and Michael, as well as many great-nieces and nephews.

The funeral will commence on Thursday, May 29, starting at 9:00 a.m. from RICHARD J. MODELL FUNERAL HOME & CREMATION SERVICES at 12641 W. 143rd St, Homer Glen, to SS Cyril & Methodius Church for Mass at 10:00 a.m. Entombment will follow at Resurrection Garden Mausoleum.

Visitation is set for Wednesday, May 28, from 3:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m.

Daniel dedicated 41 years of service, beginning at Illinois Bell and later retiring from A.T.&T. He held a special place in his heart for his granddaughters, enjoyed travelling to Poland and various destinations, had a love for the Cubs, softball, basketball, M&Ms, and gardening.
