Joanne Kleist, aged 82, of Oak Forest, passed away on Friday, May 30th, 2025. She was the cherished wife of the late Bruno Kleist, loving mother of Diane Gerches and Dr. Joseph Turkowski, and adored grandmother of Mallori, Cameryn, and Molly. Joanne was also the beloved great-grandmother of George, Lucy, Alice, and expecting another great-grandchild.

Survived by her devoted family, including her siblings Trudy Poljak, Joseph Spataro, and Catherine Spataro, Joanne will be fondly remembered by her nieces, nephews, and all who knew her for her love and kindness.

A visitation to honor Joanne will be held on Monday, June 9th, 2025, from 9:00 a.m. until 11:00 a.m., at Brady-Gill Funeral Home in Tinley Park, followed by a Funeral Mass at 11:30 a.m. at St. Damian Catholic Church in Oak Forest. Interment will take place at Abraham Lincoln National Cemetery in Elwood.
