Justice, Ill. - Curtis A. Lowery, 76, a U.S. Army Vietnam Veteran and Purple Heart recipient, passed away on June 11, 2025. He was the beloved husband of Carole Nee Kurnat, loving father of Carrie (Pat) O'Kelly and Curtis (Christina) Lowery, and dearest grandfather of Patrick, Sean, Kyle, and Dylan. Curtis was also a fond brother of David, Dennis, and Darrell.

Visitation will be held on Monday, June 16, 2025, from 4:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. at Damar-Kaminski Funeral Home & Crematorium in Justice, Illinois. The funeral service and time of remembrance will take place on Tuesday, June 17, 2025, at 10:00 a.m. at the funeral home. Interment will follow at Resurrection Cemetery.

In lieu of flower donations, the family kindly asks for contributions to be omitted.
