NEW LENOX, June 25, 2025 - David L. Braden Sr., a cherished father, grandfather, and friend, passed away peacefully at the age of 88. Born on January 16, 1937, to Mary and Arthur Braden, David was preceded in death by his sister Rita Pataky and is survived by his brother Arthur Braden and sister-in-law Dee.

Throughout his life, David was devoted to his family, having been married three times and preceded in death by his wives Wanda, Karen, and Joyce. He was a proud father of three children: Doreene Camardo, Linda Moffett, and David Braden Jr., as well as a loving grandfather to five grandchildren and a cherished great-grandfather to twelve great-grandchildren.

A Loyola University graduate and National Guard veteran, David found joy in fishing, golfing, card games, and socializing with friends. In 2018, he retired to Florida, where he continued to bask in the sunshine and the company of loved ones.

In honor of David's memory, donations to the American Cancer Society are appreciated. Visitation will be held on Thursday, July 3, 2025, from 9:00 AM until the Funeral Service at 11:00 AM at Hickey Memorial Chapel in New Lenox, IL. Interment will be at Assumption Cemetery.
