Peter Szewczyk, aged 35, passed away on June 30, 2025. He was the son of Wanda and Henryk Szewczyk and the beloved brother of Margaret Paliga and Agnes VanAllen. He is survived by his nieces, aunts, uncles, relatives, and friends.

Visitation will be held on Thursday, July 3, 2025, from 4:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. at Damar-Kaminski Funeral Home & Crematorium, located at 7861 S. 88th Avenue in Justice, Illinois. The funeral service will take place on Saturday, July 5, 2025, with prayers and procession starting at 9:30 a.m. from the funeral home to Our Lady Mother of the Church Polish Mission at 116 Hilton Street in Willow Springs, Illinois, for a 10:30 a.m. Mass. Interment will follow at Resurrection Cemetery in Justice, Illinois.
