August B. Arrigo Jr., aged 93 and a U.S. Army Veteran of the Korean War, passed away. He was the beloved husband of Donna M. Arrigo (nee Wolniak) and loving father of August B. Arrigo III, Holly Kay Duran, Victoria Callahan, John Arrigo, and Michael Arnzen. August was the cherished grandfather of August IV, Phillip Arrigo, Corinne McCleish, James Duran, D.J. Callahan, Krystal Arrigo, David Duran, and Andrea Allen, as well as the proud great-grandfather of 10.

He was the adored son of the late August Sr. and Monica Arrigo and dear brother of Rosemary Nicholson and the late Joseph and Diane Arrigo. August was also a fond uncle to many nieces and nephews and a member of the Pilgrims Social Club and American Legion Post #854.

Visitation will take place on Tuesday from 3-9 p.m. A funeral service will be held on Wednesday at 9:00 a.m. from Robert J. Sheehy & Sons Funeral Home, 9000 W. 151st Street, Orland Park, Illinois, to St. Alexander Church for Mass at 10:00 a.m. Interment will be private.
