Enedelia G. Iturralde, 91, Remembered for Faith, Love, and Culinary Skills

Enedelia G. Iturralde, affectionately known as "Abuelita," peacefully passed away at her home in Monee, surrounded by her family. She is survived by her numerous children, grandchildren, great-grandchildren, siblings, and many relatives. Enedelia was known for her faith, spiritual strength, and love for her family. She was preceded in death by her husband, parents, and several siblings.

A graduate of Harlingen High School, Enedelia lived in Texas before moving to Illinois to be closer to her family. She actively participated in Killeen Bible Church in Texas and later joined Jackson Creek Fellowship Church in Monee. Enedelia was celebrated for her exceptional cooking skills, especially her famous tortillas de harina, which her family and neighbors cherished. She had a special bond with each of her family members and was dedicated to nurturing these relationships.

Enedelia's visitation and funeral service will be held on Sunday, July 6, 2025, at Jackson Creek Fellowship Church in Monee, with interment at Forest Home Cemetery in Forest Park, Illinois, on July 7, 2025. She will be deeply missed, but her love and legacy will continue to live on in the hearts of all who had the privilege of knowing her.
