Lawrence C. Myszkowski, age 91, passed away on July 1, 2025. Lawrence, born in Chicago to Stanley J. and Stella J. Myszkowski (Zalewska), graduated from Argo High School. He served as a Machinist 2nd Class in the United States Navy during the Korean War. Following his military service, Lawrence spent over 50 years as a dedicated professional machinist. In retirement, he found fulfillment in his involvement with the local VFW chapter.

Preceded in death by his parents, Richard (Patricia) Myszkowski; brother Lenoard (Betty) Myszkowski; sister Irene Myszkowski; daughter Theresa M. Myszkowski; stepson Paul Benveniste; and his first wife Anne M. Myszkowski (d. 1989). He is survived by his loving wife of 22 years, Shelby J. Myszkowski; daughter Francine (Wayne) Suchocki; stepchildren Lynn Laurenkus, and the late Samuel Benveniste; grandson Joseph (Carley) Myszkowski; step-grandchildren Lisa (Ron) Lloyd-Meier, James Lloyd, and Vincenzo Benveniste; nieces and nephews Richard Jr., John, Joseph, Marlene, Jean, and Ellen; many great-grandchildren; and great-great-grandchildren.

Remembered for his remarkable courage, unwavering strength, and his kindness, Lawrence played a significant role in the lives of many. Visitation will be held on Friday, July 11, 2025, 3:00 pm-8:00 pm at Hann Funeral Home, 8230 S. Harlem Ave., Bridgeview, IL 60455. A funeral mass will take place on Saturday, July 12, 2025, 9:30 a.m. at Hann Funeral Home, proceeding to St. Blase Church, Summit, IL, for Mass at 11:00 a.m., followed by interment at Queen of Heaven Cemetery, Hillside, IL.
