Crete, IL - David E. Neybert, 53, of Crete, passed away at his home on Monday, July 21, 2025. Born on September 19, 1971, in Oak Lawn, IL, David was the son of Donald and Charlotte Neybert, with his mother having preceded him in death.

Surviving him are his daughter, Elizabeth, brothers Daryl, Dennis, and Dan, stepmother Jeanette O'Grady-Neybert, her children Kevin and Kathleen O'Grady, and special friend Carole Long. David attended Marist High School in Chicago and wrestled for the Burbank Panthers for 9 years, qualifying for state competition three times. He pursued a career as a Union Millwright for 30 years, proudly belonging to Local #1693.

Visitation will be on Sunday, August 3, 2025, at Hack-Jensen Funeral Home in Beecher, with a memorial service to follow. Burial will occur at a later date.
