Evergreen Park - Linda S. Pocius, affectionately known as "Bimzie," passed away at the age of 73. She was the devoted daughter of the late Tony and Betty Pocius and loving sister to Pat (late Jim) McGuffage, late Anton (Butch), and Val (late Bob) Thoma. Linda was a proud aunt and great aunt to many, cherishing relationships with Jennie (John) Schmitt, Lizzie, Frank, Johnny, Mia, Brian McGuffage, Paige, Avery, Keira, Megan McGuffage, Jennifer (Rich) Romines, Corey, Kyle, Connor, Collin, and Joe Thoma. She was also a cherished cousin and friend to many, including her beloved fur baby Teddi B.

Linda, a retired financial analyst for GSA, was actively involved in her community through volunteering with the PADS and SPRED organizations. She was known for her enthusiastic support of her nieces' and nephews' sports teams, always cheering loudly at games and proudly sporting their team colors. Holidays, particularly Halloween, were her favorite, where she delighted many with over 100 treat bags she lovingly prepared.

Services for Linda will be held at St. Gianna Molla Church (formerly Queen of Martyrs) at 103rd St. and Central Park Avenue in Evergreen Park. Visitation will take place on Monday from 9:30 a.m. to 11:00 a.m., followed by Mass at 11:00 a.m. Interment will be at St. Mary Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to PAWS. Funeral arrangements are entrusted to Curley Funeral Home located at 6116 W. 111th St. in Chicago Ridge.
