Barbara M. Garrity, aged 77 and a lifelong resident of Homewood, passed away. She is survived by her loving husband Michael Garrity, and her children Jeanette, Kathleen, Michael, and Douglas, along with grandchildren and great-grandchildren. Barbara was the daughter of Terrence J. and Dorothy May Dunning.

Fondly remembered, Barbara was a cherished grandmother and great-grandmother who adored spending time with her family. She found joy in playing bridge during her free time. Barbara is also remembered for her siblings, late Bill, Terry, Jack Dunning, and Patricia Randolph, and her deceased parents-in-law, Collette and Michael Garrity, survived by several brothers-and-sisters-in-law.

A memorial visitation will be held on Saturday, September 6th, from 1-4:30 p.m., with a Memorial Service at 4:30 p.m. at Tews Ryan Funeral Home in Homewood. In lieu of flowers, memorials can be made to "The American Brain Tumor Association" in Chicago.
