Brian D. Miller | Clancy Gernon Funeral Homes - Bourbonnais

Kankakee - Brian D. Miller, aged 61, a lifelong resident of Kankakee, passed away on September 2, 2025, at Riverside Medical Center. Born on November 8, 1963, to Wilbur and Rosemary Miller, Brian married Charlene Brumbaugh in 1999 at St. Martin of Tours Catholic Church.

Brian worked as an IT and Data Analyst at BIMBA in Monee, IL. He had a passion for travel, with Hawaii being his favorite destination, enjoyed golfing, playing poker, and cheering on the Chicago Bears. Brian adored his dog, Herbie, and valued his lifelong friendships. Above all, he treasured his family.

A graduate of Bishop McNamara High School and Eastern Illinois University, Brian was a parishioner at Maternity BVM Catholic Church in Bourbonnais. He is survived by his wife Charlene, daughters Alexandra Miller (Jared Mutter), Samantha Miller (Carson McNeely), sisters Carol (Tom) St. Peter, Linda Miller, Laurie Miller, nieces, nephews, and many loved ones. Brian was preceded in death by his parents.

Cremation rites have been conducted, with a memorial visitation scheduled at Clancy-Gernon Funeral Home in Bourbonnais on Sunday, September 7, 2025, from 1-5:00 p.m. Contributions in memory of Brian D. Miller may be made to Bishop McNamara High School. Sympathy gifts for the family can be sent via the Sympathy Store.
