Homer Glen, Illinois - Donald J. Drzal, 87, passed away on September 5, 2025. He was the beloved husband of Elizabeth "Betty" and the loving father of Carolyn Piersanti, Kathleen Siegel, Donald J. Drzal, and Kristine Stein. Donald was the devoted grandfather of April Delorto, Matthew Camp, Courtney Rosenbach, Ryan Woods, Melissa Comer, Noah Drzal, Katlin Stein, and Madeline Bennett, as well as a great-grandfather of 12. He was the cherished son of the late Frank and Helen, and the dear brother of Patricia Nowak and Bernadette Niemiec. Donald was also a beloved neighbor and friend to many.

The funeral will take place on Wednesday at 9:45 a.m. from Richard J Modell Funeral Home & Cremation Services to St. Bernard Church, with Mass at 10:30 a.m. Entombment will be in Good Shepherd Mausoleum. Visitation will be held on Tuesday from 3 p.m. to 8 p.m.

Donald was a devoted usher and parishioner at St. Bernard Church for 40 years, a proud member of Local #1 Iron Workers, and a longtime member of Illinois Live Steamers.
