Justice - Francisco Chavez, aged 89, affectionately known as Pancho, passed away on August 22, 2025. Known for his resilience, lively spirit, and warm smile, Pancho hailed from Huandacareo, Michoacan, leaving behind a legacy of pride, loyalty, hard work, and unwavering support for his family and community.

In his youth, Pancho was a rider and a dance enthusiast who brought joy wherever he went. His presence in the town square was a constant, bringing people together with his charisma. He cherished rodeos, enjoyed dancing, and excelled at dominoes, leaving a lasting impression on all who knew him. Pancho will be deeply missed, leaving behind an irreplaceable void in the hearts of many.

Survived by his beloved wife of 68 years, Guadalupe Chavez, his children David, Gutberto, Angelica, Lorena, Vianey, Rocio, Richard, Daisy, and Sandra, along with their partners, thirty grandchildren, and twenty-eight great-grandchildren, Pancho’s loving spirit will live on through his devoted family. He is preceded in death by his son Flavio Chavez, parents Don Carmen Chavez and Senora Zenaida Toledo, as well as his siblings Manuel, Jesus, and Carmen Chavez.

Visitation will take place on Friday, August 29, 2025, from 4:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. at Damar-Kaminski Funeral Home & Crematorium in Justice, Illinois.
