Stephen W. Taylor, a dedicated attorney of over 50 years, peacefully passed away on September 9, 2025, at the age of 74. He was the beloved husband of Ellie Griffin for 50 years, loving father of Christopher Taylor, Katherine Taylor Meister, and Emily Brown, and cherished grandfather of Bennett, Ruby, Ellie, and Lynn. Stephen was the devoted son of the late Jerry and Lee Taylor, and son-in-law of the late Dr. Charles and Teresa Griffin. He was also the dear brother of Jeffrey Taylor and fond uncle and brother-in-law to many.

Visitation for Stephen will take place on Sunday, September 14, 2025, from 2-7 p.m., with the funeral following on Monday, September 15, 2025, at 10:00 a.m. at Colonial Chapel in Orland Park, IL. The funeral service will be held at St. Michael Church in Orland Park, IL at 11:00 a.m. Interment will be private at Holy Sepulchre Cemetery in Alsip, IL.
