Jerome J. "Jerry" Astrauskas | Colonial Chapel Funeral Home & Crematory
Jerome J. "Jerry" Astrauskas, aged 80, passed away on October 2, 2025. Jerry was the beloved husband of Marla for 54 years and the loving father of Christopher, Rachel, and Joseph. He was the cherished grandfather of Natasha, Quentin, Hugh, James, and Ben, and the son of the late Joseph and Helen Astrauskas. Jerry was a retired English and French teacher at Oak Lawn High School with over 34 years of service. He found joy in simple pleasures like spending time with family, gardening, reading, baking bread, and cheering for the White Sox. Visitation will be held at Colonial Chapel in Orland Park on October 12, 2025, and at All Saints Lutheran Church on October 13, 2025, with a Funeral Service to follow. In lieu of flowers, donations to the American Brain Foundation or All Saints Lutheran Church are appreciated. Express condolences at colonialchapel.com.
