Mark E. Genson, 66, of Bradley, passed away on October 5, 2025, at Riverside Medical Center. Born on January 25, 1959, in Kankakee to Jerome "Joby" and Norma Genson, Mark married Theresa "Terri" Allyn in 1982.

Mark, an Air Force veteran and devoted family man, was known for his kindness, love for life, and willingness to help others. He was a skilled handyman, a loving grandparent, and a cherished friend with a warm smile, humor, and wisdom.

His presence in the hardware store was always friendly, and his love for life was evident in every action. Mark's passing is mourned by all who knew him, but his spirit lives on in the memories he left behind.

Mark is survived by his wife Theresa, son Aaron (Laura), daughters-in-law Melissa, mother Norma, siblings Gina Beard, Jon (Sheila), Barb, grandchildren Landon, Jameson, Nolan, Aurora, Nellie, and extended family. He was preceded in death by his father, son Taylor, and brother Michael.

Cremation rites have been performed, and a memorial visitation and service will be held on October 14, 2025, at Clancy-Gernon Funeral Home in Bourbonnais, officiated by Rev. Karl Koeppen. Donations can be made to a charity of the family's choosing.
