John S. Jakala Jr., loving husband of Sandra (nee Sinclair); beloved father of James (Imelda March) and Julie (Gil) Herrera; devoted grandfather of Alex and Ella Herrera; cherished brother of Edward (the late Cynthia) and Chester Jakala; dearest brother-in-law of Roberta (Edward) Clover; dear uncle of many nieces and nephews.

Family and friends are invited to pay their respects at the visitation on Thursday from 3-8 p.m. at Lawn Funeral Home in Tinley Park, IL. The funeral service will be held on Friday at 9:15 a.m. from the same location, proceeding to St. George Church for Mass at 10:00 a.m. The interment will follow at Good Shepherd Cemetery.

John S. Jakala Jr. will be remembered as a dedicated family man, known for his love and care for his loved ones.
