Illinois Gov. J.B. Pritzker is getting closer to becoming a one-term official according to a columnist who says he needs to make some serious changes if he wishes to stay in office.

According to Capitol Fax columnist Rich Miller, Pritzker is experiencing a slump brought on by his recent failures in the political arena. The first prominent loss that some say is derailing Pritzker’s career is when he failed to have his “fair tax” proposal approved last year,

The next noticeable setback for Pritzker was when Michelle Harris, his favored candidate to chair the Democratic Party of Illinois lost to U.S. Rep. Robin Kelly.

Miller says that when a politician’s weakness is displayed to the public, the latter will start looking for another person to back up, especially in Illinois. So, Miller is saying that Pritzker should do something to strengthen his image, otherwise his stay in office will end abruptly.
