Wirepoints President Ted Dabrowski can see how Gov. J.B. Pritzker could be his own worst enemy come Election Day 2022.
“I guess what we’re saying is we’re going to have to see what happens because we know people are unhappy,” Dabrowski said while appearing on Chicago’s Morning Answer. “People aren’t happy with the whole school thing and certainly aren’t happy with the vaccination process. The question is will Pritzker with his policy just hang himself by going further and further away from what people want?”
By then, Dabrowski said he’s also hoping people have stilled themselves enough to be willing to take a stand against the governor.
“People just haven’t learned how to speak up yet,” he said. “I mean, the schools are still closed, and no parent is fighting for schools.”
With Illinois now set to get its hands on somewhere in the neighborhood of $25 billion courtesy of the federal government’s just-enacted stimulus plan, Dabrowski said he expects Pritzker and Democrats to pretend as if there’s never been a problem.
“With all that money, they can try to pretend like they have everything under control,” he said. “The question is will Illinoisans fall for that?”
